Perry was not feeling good that Friday night on the last week of May of 2011, I can still remember that day since the next day I had to attend a Party at my friends house. I thought he was just teething that's why he was crying and not being himself.
Saturday night he was running a fever until the next day, and he had a rash on his belly at first then it spreads to his back, hands and legs. We then took him to the ER, they told us that he has an ear infection and was given medicine for 10 days. But he didn't get better.

One of the best reality shows is "You're Cut Off" on VH 1. This fabulous show depicts the lives of spoiled brats that have been cut off from their parents never ending trust funds. This show depicts how young adults must cope with the startling reality of making their own living and paying their own bills without mommy or daddy's help. I love watching this show as a hard working girl, because it is fun to see the spoiled brats finally suffer for their expenditures.

I indulge in viewing this show on satellite tv with http://www.directstartv.com all the time. Well, actually, I only watch this show when I am not working one of my many jobs, which is quite an irony. I am so completely different than the girls on this show, in that I work so hard for every cent I earn on this planet. While I was given a blessed childhood, I understand the value of a hard earned dollar unlike the spoiled brats on this show. On this show, young women must compete against one another by staying within tight budgets. These girls can become so catty, as they are cut off from their parents' finances. In the end, I think this show is pure comedy and a joy to watch for any hard working girl out there who wants insight into the wretched lives of spoiled brats!

Kawasaki Disease

My son was diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease during the labor day weekend, they finally found out what was wrong with him, when we took him to the ER at Howard County General Hospital. I'm forever thankful for Perry's case that it was diagnosed early. He was with in the 10 days period, so he was treated right away.

Like you, I've never heard of this KD (Kawasaki Disease), I felt like it is my responsibility as a Parent to share to you my son's battle with KD. As I go along, I will share some of my son's picture, symptoms and our experience to this Illness..

My Mom went Home

Last Feb. 12,2011 my mom went home to the Philippines after staying 1 year here. My mom arrived last Feb. 17,2010, she was supposed to stay for 6 months but we applied for her extension of B1/B2 visa which is another 6 months , so she has been staying here for a long time.

I've had 3 different jobs in like a year, first I was a sales associate in the PX for 2 months, then I transferred to the food court making Pizza, for about 5 months. Then I got hired at the daycare facility on base which I make more than my previous job.

Anyways, I'm glad to be back in blogging and I hope I can update more!

NEW YORK CITY

It's been a while since I last updated my blogs, I dont know where to start now. I am currently on leave, so I have time to write.. as if I can write.. LOL ( trying hard)!!!

A few days ago my Family went to New York City for our summer Vacation, I have been wanting to go visit NYC, since last year. My husband just came back from a deployment in Afghanistan, Thank God he came home safe! We decided to spend some time exploring NYC and visit it's tourist attraction. It was also nice seeing my KUMARE/CLASSMATE in NY, she was our tour guide.

I was watching a news on TV about the success of the Actor, who play as the football player in the popular movie "The Blind side". The guy said on his interview,said that during his casting, he wasnt sure if he will get the role but he gave his card to the producers, telling him that he is a bodyguard and if he cant get the role then he work as a body guard on the set. The producer then call him after a few days and he of course got the role,he was impressed but how professional that actor is and of he remember him out of everybody because he leave his custom business cards.

Anyway, that actor became so popular, he told during his interview that he was so broke when he got that call to be part of the movie. He is very thankful to all the blessings that come his way. It is really important to have a business card handy, when we go out to meet people or go for interviews. You will never know who you will meet out there.

camping out

A few days ago I spoke with my friend Kathy and she told me that they were in Florida camping. I never tried camping before, it must be really nice to experience camping soon. We still dont know what we are going to do when my husband comes home from deployment, we talked about going to NY, or going to the beach but no definite plans yet. I want to go outdoors also thats why im considering about a camping trip, Im already checking out used rvs , its better if you have like an RV, then you can take a lot of family and friends with you, it would be fun if you guys are comfortable when you go on a camping trip with the whole family.

As you can see, im very much excited for our summer vacation, Im counting the days until my husband comes home, last year we went to Disney World and hopefully this time we would go somewhere different and of course fun, for our summer escapades.

I am a big fan of sports, I grew up watching them on tv, especially basketball. Its a very popular game in our Country, almost every corner of our place has a basketball court. I used to watch it a lot with my uncle, and we have a different teams, we would have a deal that whoever lost the game should do the dishes or clean up something.
When I arrived here in the States, I learn to love football and at the moment Im still trying to understand the game, but I do love it a lot. My husband is actually the one who loves, he would tell me that there are people who loves to bet during those games, but I had no idea what he is referring to, until I discovered sports betting. One of my friend is getting married this month, even though I was very far away, she still manage to send me their wedding invitation. She knows that I cant attend her wonderful wedding but still she sent me one. Im sad that I cant attend to her big day, Im thousand miles away from them. I was invited to attend a party at my friends house, it was a party that sells plastic ware, we were given brochures to tale a look if we wanted to order something. We have been living in the State of Maryland for about 10 months, I love the area where we are, we are about 20 minutes from Washington D.C, depending on the traffic. The houses are a little expensive compared to other States but I think it is because we are near everything. My husband is leaving for another deployment and Im really planning ahead what to do when he comes back, a few years ago while I was still in the Philippines I made a Welcome home custom banners when he came to visit us. I design the banner by myself, I included our pictures in it. It really made him feel more at home and he was so glad to be back after spending almost 15 months in Iraq. I dont really know what else to do when he is gone, he will be leaving on Saturday to go to Georgia for a week training . Im so stressed out with so many things running on my mind, I just hope that months will pass by quickly so he can return home safely with us.If i have a choice Id rather him stay here with us than being deployed, Military life is not an easy life.

Southern Hospitality

My Mother in law lives in South Caroline, we went to visit them last year. It was nice to see the family and relatives of my husband, I get along well with my sister in law and his cousins, they are all decent people. They lived in Spartanburg County, its a small town , almost everyone knew each other. The houses are great and its very ideal for raising your kids. If you are looking for South Carolina bankruptcy records then you better check them out. Ive heart that the housing market their are doing great and the cost of living is affordable for every family.

A dear friend of mine wear eyeglasses all the time because he is having a problems of her vision, ever since we were young, I remember asking her if I could borrow her glasses so I could try it on, when I did put it on I notice some changes on my vision and it made my eyes hurt. After that I never ask to borrow her eyeglasses again, until now she still wears them, it turns out that only a lasic surgery can correct her vision but they couldn't afford it yet.

One of my childhood friend is getting married next month, I am kinda sad that I wasnt there to attend her wedding, we grow up together since our father both served in the military. She always dream of having a beach wedding when we were young, so they are having the ceremony on a beach, It is a dream come true for her. Its not easy to plan a wedding she told me that they hire a wedding coordinator for everything and was shopping around for a cheap wedding invitations , flower arrangement and even the photographer. I wish I was there with her, Jaden could be their ring bearer if we were still in our home country. Im still happy for everything that is happening to her, I wish her all the best in this new endeavor that she is taking. i hope her soon to be husband will take care of her and love her truely.

As a Military family we always move all over the country, we have to transfer from place to place according to where the Army sends my husband. its kinda tough being in the Military, our kids wont have to stay in one place, go to school in a certain school until they graduate, make friends that will last for a long time. I cant tell if how long can we stay in one place because my husband takes orders from his superiors, we cant choose where and when to go. That is why when we left to come here in Maryland, the Army pays all our moving expenses, I know its not cheap to move from one place to another, and they pack all our stuff and move our belongings to where we are now.

If you are from California, be sure to check out Orange County movers , I have a friends who's husband is in the Navy and they are PCS'ing soon, she is already planning ahead their move. I hope that it will be smooth experience for them.

We have encountered financial difficulties in the past few months, we were so broke before I had my second baby because we didnt have enough money saved in our bank account. My husband is leaving very soon for another deployment, I promised myself to get a job as soon as possible and put all his deployment money into our savings account so we have enough money set aside in case of emergencies. It is very important to have money in a bank so that whatever happens, we can use that funds to pay or buy anything we want with out worrying about the future. it was really a great eye opener experience when we didnt have anything before, it makes me more driven and value money more, Im glad that my mother is here now, she can watch my while i go find job. I hope that I will get hired soon.

I have been very busy this past few days , I know i have not visited some of my friends blogs and for that Im very sorry for not returning your visit. Ive been asking my husband if we could get a new dining set once we received our ta money , I am looking for Dining Room Tables that would fit into our house, we got one before we move in here and it was a cheap one, so now I decided to invest into a little expensive table. We are buying furniture's into this house little by little, I wanted a new couch too but maybe we can buy it a few months from now. As of now i wanted a dining table, it is important to have a nice table at home because as a family you get to eat together and spend your time mostly having a wonderful meals.

Im really looking forward to buying a new furniture's, Ive been searching online on what kind of stuff we are getting., too bad we had a snow storm this pass few days, we couldn't get out and shop.

We all know how the economic down turn affected our lives, people cant keep up with their bills , struggling with so little or nothing at all to survive. I am really shocked on how expensive living here in the States, If you dont have a stable job then you are going to live on the street if you cant pay your bills on time. My friend even told me that people here are working just to pay their bills, she cant even enjoy her money once she gets paid because it is just enough to buy groceries for two weeks and the rest goes on to paying their bills. She applied for a personal loan before because her apartment is due, her husband was laid off for several months, the loan really did help her in so many ways, read more on this topic here if you are in need of a loan too in emergencies and such.

We had over 3 ft of snow here in Maryland, some of the cities have 38 inches of snow, the power went off for 14 hours. I was so worried because our house was getting cold inside, my husband decided that we should check in a hotel if the power wont be back when it gets dark yesterday, but luckily the power came back before 5 PM. We still have no internet and cable after the power came back on.

Anyways, my husband decided to put our frozen food in a box and put it outside in the snow, along with a gallon of milk. He said he got that idea from his mom when they lost power in a snow storm before when he was young. Im glad its over, but guess what we are having another storm this week...

A big snow storm is coming our way, according to the weather report we might get a 18-24 inches of snow by tomorrow afternoon, urghh.... We have been getting lot of snow this past week, we have over 4 inches of snow 2 days ago, there's still snow on the ground.

My husbands ultimate dream is to own a motorcycle, whenever we drove somewhere and see a bike he would always tell, " I want one of those".. then my reply would always be no way. He said that one of these day when he will saved enough he will get one with a Mustang Seats because he said that its comfortable. I just think that he wants a bike since every friends of his has motorcycles, thats why he is eager to own one. He really admires customize motorcycle and its accessories, I can help but be irritated when he keep asking me if I he could buy a bike, but Im always against the fact that its way expensive. We have two small children and the last thing I want right now is another bills to pay with a new bike, so i think this is not the right time, it can wait for a while, maybe if we can win lottery he can get it for sure.

We got this for free using the Sears gift card given to us by the Sears Heroes at home wish registry, we got a total $328 in the last 3 months.

Anyway, Perry like his activity center, it keeps him occupied and I can do some chores while he is playing. Im just happy tat he is a healthy baby, he just turned 4 months last week.

RV rentals

When we arrived in this base last year, I noticed that there were RV's parked just outside the px, I asked my husband why is it there, he told me that the parking lot is called a lemon lot, where people can park and sell their cars and RV's there. The prizes of those RV's are so expensive, I asked myself how on earth can people afford those vehicles. Well , for sure others could buy those things but not us, for those who wants to go on camping there are rv rentals available for everybody.

Anyways, I know that spring is fast approaching, people will want to go out and enjoy the great outdoors, like camping and boating. I have never tried those activities, my husband is not a big fan of camping, he doesnt like sleeping on a tent and all, because they always go to the field for a week or so when they are training. He always complain his back hurts after sleeping on a tent and he doesn't like mosquitoes biting him.

My husbands is leaving for another deployment very soon, he is already downloading songs and movies from Rapid4me.com - fileshare search , and he would save it to his computer. Watching movies are the only recreation that he can do over there. He usually would buy DVD's but he is not allowed to bring a lot of personal stuff with him, just a laptop and toiletries. Im not ready yet to be away from him, I just got here , I dont know what im going to do with out him.

Anyways, What can I do its part of his job, he has to go on deployment overseas to do his job. I will just support him as his wife. This is what a Military family go through every now and then, we cant choose where to go or what to do. My kids has to be away from their dad for a while, I know Jaden will be looking for his daddy when he leaves.. I will just ask everybody to pray for my husbands safety while is gone.

Last summer we had a Grand Vacation at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Before we left my husband had to do a brake job and oil change for our car that cost around $700 , I was a little frustrated that time because our pocket money for that vacation was spent for that car repair alone. Then my husband told me that, the costs of auto repair here in the States is really expensive. We were planning to stay for like two weeks there but instead we ended up staying for 10 days. Oh, well, we enjoyed every moment visiting the themed parks in Disney World. My husband got a free 5 day pass to all Disney parks because he is in the Military, my son was only two years old that time so he's free too, while I had 5 day passes for only $100.

My son loves dog, unfortunately we dont have one but Ive been thinking to get one now since my husband is leaving soon. When we visited my mother in law last summer, jaden keep playing with their dog named "frankie", the little dog keep chasing my son everywhere, my mother in law has a big back yard, i would throw a foot ball in it and frankie would chase it with my son. That time my mother in law suggested that I should get him a dog but I said no, because I know it will be a lot of work to raise a dog and I was pregnant that time. It is said that a child who have pets when they were young tends to grow up more responsible than others.

There are available country dog boarding kennels for those who dont have a big yard for their pets, it is also ideal for those who are going somewhere and you cant take your dogs with you. It is very important that while you are away your pets are safe and secured.

Its no doubt that we are in a recession right now, people are losing their jobs, homes and some are struggling to pay their bills. Im trying to make money online by doing paid post, while im at home taking care of my kids. We are also having financial difficulties at this time so Im trying to help out as much as I can. Jason printed his W2 yesterday and this afternoon we filed our taxes!!! We filed early this year because last year we id it like 2 days before the deadline.
I am proud of my DH because he passed his certification test today, he called me after his test to get ready because I need to sign papers for our taxes. He also went to see Michael, his old roommate in GA who came by at the PX they talk for a while. He now works in VA after he got out of the Army last year.

adjustable bed

I have been complaining about our bed ever since I got here, why? because its too high for me . Im short thats why I always complain about how I cant get on the bed with out climbing like a little kid. I only I was as tall as my husband then I wouldn't mind the height of the bed. It got me thinking why not get a GoldenRest Premium adjustable bed , it would be so cool if I can adjust the bed into my desired position when I go to sleep.

Our sleeping condition is really weird, we have 3 bedroom and one is suppose to be a nursery room but since Perry sleeps with me because Im breastfeeding him , my husband has to sleep in the other room. I was 5 months preggy when we went to Disney World in Orlando Florida, I could only ride those kiddie rides such as the one in the picture. What i really miss about Florida is it's weather, it was 99F when we went there, it feels like I was still in Pinas. We spent 10 days in Orlando visiting theme parks for almost free, the perks of being a Military family!

When I was in College I had an on the job training at a local bank, there were four of us in that bank, so we have time to talk a little bit while were working. We were really enjoying the self inking stamps and label all the application with dates before putting all the forms in a filing cabinet. My job was to assist the new accounts officer, I verify information, check their ID's and white down their account number in the ledger. My other classmates on the other hand, had to count coins, answer the phone and received fax messages. It was like a 300 hours On the Job training so we were there for about 4-5 months. What we like about it is that sometimes their were clients who brought food or snacks to the bank so we can at least take a break, we were not receiving allowance from the bank or anything so that helped us.

Military moves a lot like every 2 to 4 years, we get stationed all over the country, its really tough when you know that you cant stay long in a certain area. When we move from Georgia to here I feel bad for my friends that Ive met there even though I only stayed there for a couple of weeks. I just arrived in the States last year and we moved after a few weeks after my husband received his orders.

If given a chance I would want us to be stationed somewhere in California, because I like the weather over there. We probably use a Moving Company Los Angeles to help us move our stuff. its not easy to pack and load things , especially when its heavy like a furniture. I was so relieved that the Army paid for our moving expense, we didnt have to do anything except supervise the people that was packing our things.

Earlier my new dentist just handed me a business card of a Pediatric dentist for my son. They just couldnt handle Jaden's attitude during his dental check up, so they referred us to a dentist that specializes the oral health of children from infancy up to their teen life. It is so much easier for us to contact this dentist because we already have her information, all we have to do now is call her clinic and schedule an appointment.

I went to the Dentist this morning for the first time since I arrived here last year, it was a totally different experience for me. Jaden freaked out while we were at the clinic so they couldn't check his teeth, instead they referred us to a Pedodontist. They had to do two types of X-ray on my teeth and after that they cleaned my teeth , I had cavities so I had to go back on the first week of February for my filling's. Our bill was pretty expensive for all those procedures done to me alone, it's $285 but our insurance took care of everything so we didnt pay out of pocket.

The Dental Marketing is quite impressive here, they really took care of their patients and informed us on important news about the latest trends in dental care. I am going to look for an orthodontist here because I want them to check on my braces.

We just watched Up yesterday and OMG it was so good, Jaden liked it so much that he kept saying KEVIN!lol.. As I've mentioned before Im studying online to be a Medical Transcriptionist someday, I started doing classes when I was about 7 months pregnant, there are real online degrees available to those who are a stay at home mommy like me. It is very convenient to study online, I dont have to go to the school campus and attend class regularly. I study at night when my kids are asleep and during weekend, the online school that I go to allow us to finish the program for up to a year and I can study at my own pace.

I am very glad to avail the scholarship for military spouses, Im studying online for free right now through MyCAA, I know a lot of military spouses who are taking classes online. I have share this information to my friends too, so they can study and as of now 5 of my Filipina friends whose husband are in the military are also studying like me.

It's another boring day for me, hubby is at work and Im here doing nothing, im still undecided if i want to join the Girls night out on Saturday, they are going to a karaoke club somewhere, another friend of mine already offered me a ride but I dont know If I want to come.

I am not comfortable yet around them but dont get me wrong they are all nice and fun, but its still not the same if you go out with a fellow Filipina. One of the girl is a Property Manager in Columbus before she quit and move with her husband. The only girl that i like is married to a Fil am so at least she can understand me a bit. It's Monday once again, first day of work to those who have jobs like my husband, and Im all alone again with my kids. I wake up very early today because of the sun light entering our bedroom, Ive noticed that during this winter season, the sunrise is around 4:00 in the morning, I was kind of irritated because I wanted to sleep more but I had to wake up to close our blinds, these are the moments that I wish we could have a Wooden blinds because they are more ideal for our room. The Baltimore Raven's fan is waking up very happy this morning because they just won a big playoff games against the New England Patriots. We all know how important it is to maintain our car regularly to ensure that it will work in the long run. My husband's car is an old Honda Accord but it still run like new and very reliable, it never let us down even on snowy road, he even named the car Betsie, oh well that is my silly husband.

We just had an auto repair for our car a few months ago and it was way expensive but it was worth it because they figured out what was causing the problem in the engine. My mother in law works in a Car factory in Greenville, South Carolina, she has been working there for 15 years as supervisor to those people who install things to the car like engines, seat belt, fuel pumps and diesel turbocharger . I think its called quality control, Im not sure though because I didnt ask her personally it was my husband who told me about what she does. She really knows a lot about cars, she even check and inspect my husband's car when me and my husband together with Jaden went there to visit them, I was still pregnant during that time. She was asking if our airbags work and made sure that my son's car seat is installed properly. She drives about 45 minutes to go to work everyday and she cooks really good meals when I was there,I cant wait until we can visit them again on summer time. Over 2 years ago she stopped working for a while because she had a surgery on her back, thankfully, she recovered right away and was able to get back to her work as soon as she can. She is truly an inspiration to all of us.

Im still breast feeding him but Im trying to switch to formula little by little, i found out the right ratio for him to drink his bottle, its an ounce of formula milk and 3 ounce of breast milk mix together and he will drink it...

My Uncle's business in our Province is selling sterling silver and he had a display showcases for the costumers to see easily the jewelries. Its a good investment to buy a sturdy store display when you have a business in jewelry. When ever I go visit them during school breaks before,I always watch his store and in return he will give me jewelries. I just talk to my sister back home and she told me if im interested in selling them here in the States, I said yes right away..
My Uncle is one helluva business man, if we ever wants something, he made sure that we work hard for it, he is very smart and hard worker, When he graduated College from UE, he went to Australia on his own, it was like in the early 80's after the Martial Law, and there he works and eventually petition my grandma and his brothers and sisters to be with him. After he resigned from his work he went back to our town and became a farmer and had a jewelry store, he travels a lot too all over the world "back packers" as what they call it in the land down under.

When I was younger I really want to learn to skateboard because I used to watch a movie about it and they were doing flips and jumps on it, it was so cool.. I thought it will be nice to know how to skate but Im too scared that I might fell and embarrass myself in front of a lot of people. Well, I have two boys , when they are older they might want to try this sport one day and I might be getting a longboard skateboards soon. I just hope that they will be very careful skateboarding so nothing bad will happen to them. They should wear a helmet and knee pads and all, to protect them when they fall. Im going to brace myself on what my two children will do when they grow up, my husband said that they should be a football player and make him millions, in his dreams, while me I want them to be in showbiz when we go home.

New Years Resolution

Ever since I was young Ive been struggling with my weight, my mom and sister are even skinnier than me, as far as I can remember I always watch what I ate because I gained weight faster than a lightning, that is why I only cooked a pasta during the holidays. I have been seeing a lot of women who tried the lap-band the woodlands and the results is amazing, this procedure takes a lot of courage to start with and it will take some time to see results but Im sure it will be worth it in the long run. After having two kids, I weigh 125 pounds now and with my height which is 4'11 Im still over weight. My new years resolution is to stay away from the fridge as much as possible, eat healthy foods and try to exercise when ever I can. It's really hard to lose that extra weight after giving birth but I cant do anything about my weight, I just have to love my body no matter what.

During the Holidays we have been trying to decorate the whole house with some wall decors and picture frames in the rooms, we also had a metal wall hooks for our curtains, well it was a lot of work, we have 3 bedrooms upstairs and two bathroom. I still need to buy drapes or curtains for our living room, my priority is getting all the rooms done so I can focus on what to do with our living room. Im glad that my husband was off for a week or so, he was the one who install everything , we also got a mattress for my mom in the spare room so she can have something to sleep with soon. I still need to buy small furniture's for our home, but you Im going to do it one at a time, money is tight so we cant get everything at once even if I want to.

accidents on the road

I was watching the morning news today and there were a lot of accidents in the beltway because of icy roads, some of the road are even closed since it is dangerous to drive in those areas. Until now im still afraid to drive outside the base because we are near the interstate and people drive fast on the freeway. I dont want to get into accidents because they are costly and of course I have children that are always with me all the time,I dont want to risk their safety. I hope that the weather will improve soon, i cant stand the cold and I want to go out with my family, only a few months away and this winter season will be over, im looking forward for the summer again!

My son is very happy with my Christmas Gift to him which I bought with my own earnings from blogging, I got him a Diego trike and my husband gave him a spongebob stuffed toy with a blanket , he rides with the trike all the time but there is one problem he cant reach the pedal yet, I didn't really thought that the trike would be perfect for his age but it turns out he is not tall enough for it.
He loves riding toys, he always has a bike ever since he started walking, my mom bought him a bike before and when he broke it i always replace it with a new one. Maybe when he grows up he will own a bike too, and would like Baron Custom Accessories to modify his ride. Well, its really up to him what he want when his old enough to figure out things on his own.

My husband went back to work this morning, its his first day at work for this year and Im home alone with the kids. Jaden is playing his toys while Perry is taking a nap, obviously Im blogging since my babies are busy doing their thing. Annapolis

We went to Annapolis today and visited the Naval Academy, we really didnt stay longer in that place because it was freaking cold , it was like 23 degrees Fahrenheit. After a few months I finally saw an ocean but I could even play with the water because it was freezing, it would be wonderful to visit the place again during the summer. We have been going out a lot since my husband is off, it's a good way to start the year to visit place Ive never been to.
Anyway,when we got home my husband noticed that the clock in the microwave and the stove is off, he told me that the power went off when we were gone and he explained about FS6U and how it works, he know about electronics because itis part of his job. He just fixed his old laptop before Christmas and its working good right now.

My first new year

This was my first new years here in the States and I find it very boring, there is fireworks but only at the city which is in Baltimore, but not here on base where we are living. I was trying to stay up late but I fall asleep. Its totally different from what Im used to in the Philippines, we have food and all kinds of fireworks on New Years eve back home.
Anyway, Im still happy even though im far from my family because we are complete and healthy. My new years resolution would be to be more patient and loving to the people around me.. Today I received a wedding invitations from my former classmate who lives in Virginia, I dont know if I can attend her wedding but I will try.

As a military family we move a lot from a different location where my husband is stationed, when I arrived in the States we were in Georgia that time, I stayed there for about 4 weeks before we had to move to Maryland. We applied for our tax return while I was in GA and the IRS sent our checks to our previous address because we didnt have a return address labels or change our address when we filed our income tax. After all the confusion we finally received our checks in like 3 months and we were already in Maryland that time, it is important to always update your address especially when your works require you to move a lot.

I have a childhood friend who is getting married next summer, she really wanted to prepare her wedding ahead of time, she wanted to have a memorable wedding, she invited me and my son to attend her wedding but sad to say we cant because we are very far away, Im hoping that my mom could come instead of me. We are really close since we grow up together our father work together in the military so where ever our dad works we are with them also. I just spoke to her online and she asked me if I know a wedding coordinator, so she can have someone prepare everything and stick to their budget. As much as possible she wants to save and get a discount wedding invitations for her upcoming wedding.
I'm so excited for her, finally she is going to get married soon.

wtf is wrong with these people.. I'm a member of a Military spouse forum, and a husband of that "impostor" outed one of the famous member in that forum, and told us that "Kaylin" is not who we think she is, that is not even her real name , she was stealing pictures from some girl pretending to be in college, and only 21 years old.. when in fact she is married have two kids and is 35 years old..
I have been a member of the forum for the last 2 years and i really find her post funny and i always thought her pictures were really pretty. She made a fake facebook and myspace account added some of the member of that forum, one of her closest friend in the forum asked her to be her maid of honor, she really felt betrayed..
Looks like she made up all those stories about her mother died of cancer, ...what kind of person does that?? her mom is still alive.. my goodness!!

The saddest part of all is that she had a "fiance" who is deployed in iraq right now, the guy wanted to visit "her" on his R&R but she make up excuses not to see him, so the guy proposed to her even if they have not seen each other in person or even on a webcam and they were engaged, then later on when this all happened and we found out someone informed him that "Kaylin" is not real, he was really upset...

This girl is really SICK shes married and has 2 kids, what a lonely life must she have to make up all the lies!
Lesson learned never ever trust a person whom you dont know and not meet in real life.. well except for a few good friends ive meet here in blog world.

sending money

I tried sending money today to my sister but unfortunately it was canceled and I dont know whats wrong with it, they already took out the money from my bank. When I called their customer service I was on hold for like 5-10 minutes until I can talk to somebody, well,they told me that they would return back the money in 3-5 days.
I just wish that I'll have it back in time for Christmas, I dont have a lot of money nor a cds. Anyway, I spoke to my friend here, I should have send it using a bank account not a debit card.. oh well I'm going to it again and this time I am going to use my husband's account. I hope there will be no more problems this time.

I find it difficult to shop especially when you are on a tight budget, I would usually browse online to compare prices on different store before driving to that specific retailer to purchasing something. Now that I have found shopwiki a shopping engine comparison where I can find great deals and products in every store.

My uncle who lives in Australia is asking me where I shop for my baby gears , his wife just gave birth last month and he had no idea where to shop over there. I also spoke to my friend who is residing in the Netherland , we were discussing winter fashion since it has been really cold lately and I needed a coat to keep me warm. I asked for her help what kind of winter jacket to get for myself, she then told me about looking into sales so I can save more.

My husband is in the Military so I always make sure that at least Im updated with whats going on around us especially in politics, we discuss it regularly and I visit political forums in the usa. I like to read what others have to say about this Government, I need to learn about Immigration issues too since Im a new immigrant in this Country, I want to know my rights and as a Parent I want to gather all information for my children too. I really thought that this Administration would pull out the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan but looks like we have to wait a little longer. I dont want my husband to ever deploy again, he has been deployed twice and it's really hard if we would be apart again.

I have a hard time trying to find my size when I go shopping for clothes, I would usually go to girls section because thats the only section where I can find my own sizes. I haven't bought a pair of jeans ever since I got here, the jeans are usually too long for me and I had no where to have it altered without paying too much. It was a good decision that I bought like five new jeans before I left our Country, Im also going totake a look at William Rast women's jeans because Ive heard that they carry the hottest styles of jeans, I'm a jeans and shirt kind of person,you can find mostly t shirts and jeans on my closet. I find it very comfortable wearing them a sneakers of a flip flops but now that it's winter time I wear my jeans with my boots.

I have been struggling with my weight ever since, I dont have a good figure nor slim when I was still single. Now, after having two kids my weight problem got worse, I have extra fat around my belly. My stomach is not as tight as before, I think I might need a tummy tuck in the near future. I want to have my old body back, so I can at least wear my clothes and help me gain more confidence. I was just told a few days ago that our insurance will cover cosmetic surgery, so thats something to look forward to. A new friend of mine just had her boobs enhanced and she is happy with the change. Who knows someday I might consider it, so far Its not really bothering me that much, Im glad that I have that option if ever I want to undergo under the knife soon.

I didn't know the importance of insurance before I came here, because it's not really common where I came from. When I gave birth we didn't pay a single cent because we have such a good insurance coverage for our family, I can take my children to any hospitals for an appointments or a Doctors visit and not worry about the expense I might incurred. If any members of my family will get sick I will not worry if I dont have money to pay. It is really expensive if your don't have any insurance here, When my husband wrecked his car, his auto insurance took care of everything. You need a good insurance for almost everything such as HVG Insurance. Everybody should get an Insurance that will suit their needs,it is nice to know that what ever happens, your insurance provider will take care of it.

I'm a sleep deprived momma, that's what I always complain to my husband. Its not easy to get a good night sleep when you have an infant, plus I'm breast feeding. I'm always tired and dont want to go out anymore, I want to sleep as much as I can. Our schedule completely change when our little Angel came into this world,we dont go out or eat out anymore. Yesterday I went shopping with my kids and I pass by a beds for sale sign and I wanted to just sleep right there and then. After I bought what I wanted, I rushed home so I could take a nap since my husband is off and he can take care of our babies. This is the everyday challenge of being a mom but hey, I'm happy and contented with my life especially that I have a wonderful husband and adorable kids.

meeting friends

Last night I attended a girls night in with my new found friends, I met them at cafe mom. There were like 8-10 ladies who attended the get together, I stayed there for 3 hours, the one who hosted the GNI was married to a Filipino who is in the Army, but I didn't get to meet his husband because he was in a range somewhere. Their house is a few blocks from us, they have like a four bed room brick house that's really beautiful and they have a
grandfather clocks on their living room. Everyone had to bring snacks and I brought a cookie, I'm glad that I really met them even though I didn't talk a lot, it was so much fun, one of the girl just had her surgery, she had breast implants and she was letting everyone touch her boobs.

I have been looking at our Wedding Albums these weekend as I was arranging some of our stuff upstairs, It made me smile while browsing each pictures in it, it brings back good memories, we were so young when we got married 3 years ago. I have wanting to buy our own house ever since we got here but my husband
said no because of his job in the Military we will be moving a lot in
every 2-3 years, it would be nice to own our own house someday. One of
the problems a home owners might face is a winged termites,

they can damage to your properties and it is important that you have
to eliminate them as early as possible before they destroy your house.

we just move into this house a few months ago and it is a privatized
military housing, if ever we have problems we will just call the
maintenance and they will assists us with everything, they even cut our
grasses regularly and collect our garbage weekly. It is nice to live
here, but I would rather have my own house so we can use our housing
allowance into a good investment someday.

When we visited Washington D.C. last summer we had to walk a lot to find the White House, Museums and the different tourist attractions, then we stumble into a wedding pictorials in a garden between the Washington Memorial and Lincoln memorial, there was a DC wedding limo parked near the area, I'm not sure if the wedding was held there or not. My husband then asked me to keep walking and not stare at them, I told him that i was just admiring their wedding gowns and the lovely bride because she was really glowing with happiness. They were also making funny poses and the groomsmen where like lifting the bride, I guess it was all part of the choreography on the pictorials. My feet hurts when we were in D.C. my God I had to walk several miles I think just to visit the tourist spots, we didn't even get to see all of the museums there,I beg my husband to go home early because I was so tired and I was still pregnant that time.

Me and hubby meet online, who would have thought that its really possible to find love through the internet but it happens to us. We are blessed with two wonderful boys and we have been married for 3 years and 5 months. The first two years of our marriage was spent apart, because he was deployed in Iraq and I was staying in the Philippines with our son Jaden.
It's not easy to be a Military wife, it takes a lot of strenght to overcome all the struggles that I went through, the sleepless night that i experienced worrying about my husband's safety, the tears ive shed when i miss him at night.The hardest part i guess is that he missed the first two years of our son's life, he was not with us during his birthday's , first step and more, but I'm glad that there is internet that makes our communication easier and constant when we were apart before. Looking back now, whew I didnt know how we made it this far.

swine flu shot

DH was not feeling well when he got home earlier, he just had a swine flu shot. I'm so glad that its friday already Im looking forward to the weekend to rest and sleep as much as I can. I've been very busy this week and Im hoping tomorrow Dh can watch the kids so I can concentrate studying online, I'm so behind on my modules, I only have 7 months left to finish my course.

how to overcome my fear

I have been here in the States for 8 months and until now I'm still afraid to talk to people, I only have one friend and she's Japanese, I can relate to her because ,well obviously our english is not that good, and we are the foreigners here LOL...
Up to now Im scared to talk to people even on the phone, I always ask my husband to call for my appointments, Im afraid to go to the cashier to pay or to tell the waiter my order. Actually my neighbors are very friendly, they always say "hi" to me when we saw each other, another neighbor of mine even offered to cook us meals when I just had the baby.
I'm not like this in Pinas, Im very talkative to my friends but ever since I got here I'm like a totally different person, i'm not as sociable as i used to be. hay buhay!!! help??? lolz......
