Perry was not feeling good that Friday night on the last week of May of 2011, I can still remember that day since the next day I had to attend a Party at my friends house. I thought he was just teething that's why he was crying and not being himself.
Saturday night he was running a fever until the next day, and he had a rash on his belly at first then it spreads to his back, hands and legs. We then took him to the ER, they told us that he has an ear infection and was given medicine for 10 days. But he didn't get better.

You're Cut Off!

One of the best reality shows is "You're Cut Off" on VH 1. This fabulous show depicts the lives of spoiled brats that have been cut off from their parents never ending trust funds. This show depicts how young adults must cope with the startling reality of making their own living and paying their own bills without mommy or daddy's help. I love watching this show as a hard working girl, because it is fun to see the spoiled brats finally suffer for their expenditures.

I indulge in viewing this show on satellite tv with http://www.directstartv.com all the time. Well, actually, I only watch this show when I am not working one of my many jobs, which is quite an irony. I am so completely different than the girls on this show, in that I work so hard for every cent I earn on this planet. While I was given a blessed childhood, I understand the value of a hard earned dollar unlike the spoiled brats on this show. On this show, young women must compete against one another by staying within tight budgets. These girls can become so catty, as they are cut off from their parents' finances. In the end, I think this show is pure comedy and a joy to watch for any hard working girl out there who wants insight into the wretched lives of spoiled brats!

Kawasaki Disease

My son was diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease during the labor day weekend, they finally found out what was wrong with him, when we took him to the ER at Howard County General Hospital. I'm forever thankful for Perry's case that it was diagnosed early. He was with in the 10 days period, so he was treated right away.

Like you, I've never heard of this KD (Kawasaki Disease), I felt like it is my responsibility as a Parent to share to you my son's battle with KD. As I go along, I will share some of my son's picture, symptoms and our experience to this Illness..

My Mom went Home

Last Feb. 12,2011 my mom went home to the Philippines after staying 1 year here. My mom arrived last Feb. 17,2010, she was supposed to stay for 6 months but we applied for her extension of B1/B2 visa which is another 6 months , so she has been staying here for a long time.

I've had 3 different jobs in like a year, first I was a sales associate in the PX for 2 months, then I transferred to the food court making Pizza, for about 5 months. Then I got hired at the daycare facility on base which I make more than my previous job.

Anyways, I'm glad to be back in blogging and I hope I can update more!

NEW YORK CITY

It's been a while since I last updated my blogs, I dont know where to start now. I am currently on leave, so I have time to write.. as if I can write.. LOL ( trying hard)!!!

A few days ago my Family went to New York City for our summer Vacation, I have been wanting to go visit NYC, since last year. My husband just came back from a deployment in Afghanistan, Thank God he came home safe! We decided to spend some time exploring NYC and visit it's tourist attraction. It was also nice seeing my KUMARE/CLASSMATE in NY, she was our tour guide.

I was watching a news on TV about the success of the Actor, who play as the football player in the popular movie "The Blind side". The guy said on his interview,said that during his casting, he wasnt sure if he will get the role but he gave his card to the producers, telling him that he is a bodyguard and if he cant get the role then he work as a body guard on the set. The producer then call him after a few days and he of course got the role,he was impressed but how professional that actor is and of he remember him out of everybody because he leave his custom business cards.

Anyway, that actor became so popular, he told during his interview that he was so broke when he got that call to be part of the movie. He is very thankful to all the blessings that come his way. It is really important to have a business card handy, when we go out to meet people or go for interviews. You will never know who you will meet out there.

camping out

A few days ago I spoke with my friend Kathy and she told me that they were in Florida camping. I never tried camping before, it must be really nice to experience camping soon. We still dont know what we are going to do when my husband comes home from deployment, we talked about going to NY, or going to the beach but no definite plans yet. I want to go outdoors also thats why im considering about a camping trip, Im already checking out used rvs , its better if you have like an RV, then you can take a lot of family and friends with you, it would be fun if you guys are comfortable when you go on a camping trip with the whole family.

As you can see, im very much excited for our summer vacation, Im counting the days until my husband comes home, last year we went to Disney World and hopefully this time we would go somewhere different and of course fun, for our summer escapades.

I am a big fan of sports, I grew up watching them on tv, especially basketball. Its a very popular game in our Country, almost every corner of our place has a basketball court. I used to watch it a lot with my uncle, and we have a different teams, we would have a deal that whoever lost the game should do the dishes or clean up something.
When I arrived here in the States, I learn to love football and at the moment Im still trying to understand the game, but I do love it a lot. My husband is actually the one who loves, he would tell me that there are people who loves to bet during those games, but I had no idea what he is referring to, until I discovered sports betting. the wedding

One of my friend is getting married this month, even though I was very far away, she still manage to send me their wedding invitation. She knows that I cant attend her wonderful wedding but still she sent me one. Im sad that I cant attend to her big day, Im thousand miles away from them. Life here in America is not easy, there are many bills to pay, we need to pay for everything else, especially insurances. We pay insurance for almost everything like auto insurance. My husband has been in an accident before so his premiums are kinda high because of that incident, we have insurance through our bank which cater to all military members so at least we have discounts in our insurances. I have been reading about how my job affects my insurance rates , i found a lot of useful information about how insurance rates increase and decrease, depending on your driving records and your work. There are some group of Professional who pays more with their insurance because of the type of job they have, while others pay less with their kind of work they do.

I was invited to attend a party at my friends house, it was a party that sells plastic ware, we were given brochures to tale a look if we wanted to order something. We have been living in the State of Maryland for about 10 months, I love the area where we are, we are about 20 minutes from Washington D.C, depending on the traffic. The houses are a little expensive compared to other States but I think it is because we are near everything. A few months ago there was an incident about a young girl who was molested and killed by a sexual offender in this State, it was so sad that it happened to that poor little girl, so if you are worried about this things, you should check out maryland sex offender registry. I have young children so I know what it feels like to live in fear each day knowing that there are bad people who wants to harm them when you cant watch your kids at all times. I am glad we live inside a base where there are strict rules about sex offenders not living here, that is such a big relief for me.

My husband is leaving for another deployment and Im really planning ahead what to do when he comes back, a few years ago while I was still in the Philippines I made a Welcome home custom banners when he came to visit us. I design the banner by myself, I included our pictures in it. It really made him feel more at home and he was so glad to be back after spending almost 15 months in Iraq. I dont really know what else to do when he is gone, he will be leaving on Saturday to go to Georgia for a week training . Im so stressed out with so many things running on my mind, I just hope that months will pass by quickly so he can return home safely with us.If i have a choice Id rather him stay here with us than being deployed, Military life is not an easy life.

Southern Hospitality

My Mother in law lives in South Caroline, we went to visit them last year. It was nice to see the family and relatives of my husband, I get along well with my sister in law and his cousins, they are all decent people. They lived in Spartanburg County, its a small town , almost everyone knew each other. The houses are great and its very ideal for raising your kids. If you are looking for South Carolina bankruptcy records then you better check them out. Ive heart that the housing market their are doing great and the cost of living is affordable for every family.

What I really like about being there is that they showed me their Southern Hospitality and their food are great too. I am lucky to have a wonderful in laws, we are hoping to visit them again soon. I cannot wait to see Davan, the daughter of my sister in law.

eyeglasses for everyone

A dear friend of mine wear eyeglasses all the time because he is having a problems of her vision, ever since we were young, I remember asking her if I could borrow her glasses so I could try it on, when I did put it on I notice some changes on my vision and it made my eyes hurt. After that I never ask to borrow her eyeglasses again, until now she still wears them, it turns out that only a lasic surgery can correct her vision but they couldn't afford it yet.

One of my childhood friend is getting married next month, I am kinda sad that I wasnt there to attend her wedding, we grow up together since our father both served in the military. She always dream of having a beach wedding when we were young, so they are having the ceremony on a beach, It is a dream come true for her. Its not easy to plan a wedding she told me that they hire a wedding coordinator for everything and was shopping around for a cheap wedding invitations , flower arrangement and even the photographer. I wish I was there with her, Jaden could be their ring bearer if we were still in our home country. Im still happy for everything that is happening to her, I wish her all the best in this new endeavor that she is taking. i hope her soon to be husband will take care of her and love her truely.

movers in Orange County

As a Military family we always move all over the country, we have to transfer from place to place according to where the Army sends my husband. its kinda tough being in the Military, our kids wont have to stay in one place, go to school in a certain school until they graduate, make friends that will last for a long time. I cant tell if how long can we stay in one place because my husband takes orders from his superiors, we cant choose where and when to go. That is why when we left to come here in Maryland, the Army pays all our moving expenses, I know its not cheap to move from one place to another, and they pack all our stuff and move our belongings to where we are now.

If you are from California, be sure to check out Orange County movers , I have a friends who's husband is in the Navy and they are PCS'ing soon, she is already planning ahead their move. I hope that it will be smooth experience for them.

We have encountered financial difficulties in the past few months, we were so broke before I had my second baby because we didnt have enough money saved in our bank account. My husband is leaving very soon for another deployment, I promised myself to get a job as soon as possible and put all his deployment money into our savings account so we have enough money set aside in case of emergencies. It is very important to have money in a bank so that whatever happens, we can use that funds to pay or buy anything we want with out worrying about the future. it was really a great eye opener experience when we didnt have anything before, it makes me more driven and value money more, Im glad that my mother is here now, she can watch my while i go find job. I hope that I will get hired soon.

I have been very busy this past few days , I know i have not visited some of my friends blogs and for that Im very sorry for not returning your visit. I am very thankful that Blogging has helped me in so many ways, Ive met a lot of wonderful people in the blogsphere and earned money too at the same time. When Im sad and lonely, I could express my thoughts through blogging, one of my friend taught me how to do blogs and get paid post.
